PRIVATE EVENTS COORDINATOR/MARKET SUPERVISOR

REPORTS TO: General Manager

Position Purpose
Compensation for the position includes an hourly base rate, plus market tip pool, plus private event gratuity.
This is a hybrid role working as both the Private Events Coordinator but also working shifts as a Market Supervisor when not needed for events business.
The Private Events Supervisor is responsible for ensuring high-quality service to guests for the duration of each private event and activation. The Private Events Supervisor is responsible for effectively communicating the needs for each event to staff and vendors prior to each event and activation. The Private Events Supervisor is responsible for facilitating the cleanliness, maintenance, and over all aesthetic of the private event space at all times, including but not limited to the set up and break down of the event space before and after each event or activation.
The Market Supervisor is responsible for overall guest experience, vendor service, facility maintenance, and energy of the Market. In addition to their primary responsibilities, the Market Supervisor should build a win/win partnership with our vendors and ensure consistent execution of cleaning and operations standards while delivering an exceptional guest experience.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED
Three years of Private Events Experience
Preferred Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree
Three years of Private Events Experience

Strong guest service orientation
Good communication skills (verbally interacts with management, team members and guests)
Identify and resolve problems quickly and efficiently
Ability to accept constructive criticism and work calmly and effectively under pressure
